Gideon Academy was established in 2007 by Pastors Aniceto and Juanita Hernandez with a clear mission: to provide students with a quality, Christ Centered education in an environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Through prayer and fasting, God opened the door for Gideon Academy to make its home at 1316 Shafter Road. From the beginning, the school has remained committed to serving families by providing affordable tuition without compromising academic excellence or biblical values.

Gideon Academy operates under the umbrella of Christ Centered Church, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Under the leadership of Pastor Aniceto Hernandez, the church leadership and governing board work together to guide students toward academic discovery, spiritual growth, and a lifelong love of learning.​
